Create a wallet

UTN Wallet creates a passkey account. The passkey stays on the device. The wallet does not give you a seed phrase to write down, and you do not install a browser extension for this path.

The same page runs in both. Under 600px wide the page is one column. Wider than that, the mark sits on the left and the actions sit on the right.

1. The heading is Get started.
2. Press Create wallet with passkey.
3. Complete the device prompt: Face ID, a fingerprint, or the device PIN. The page says "Follow your device's prompt…" while it waits.
4. The wallet stores the account in this browser and opens the home screen. The first account is named Personal.

Sign in with passkey is the other button. Use it on a browser that does not have the account yet. The passkey prompt recovers the key. iCloud Keychain or Google Password Manager can sync that passkey to another device you already trust. This page does not move the passkey itself.

If the browser has no passkey support, the page says so and names Safari, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.

There is also Advanced: import a key, phrase or backup file. That path is for a key you already have. A new wallet does not need it.

What you get

The account is a smart account. Its address is predicted from the passkey and the account factory before the account contract is deployed. The first transaction deploys it. You do not deploy it yourself.

The wallet can add a recovery phrase later, under Settings. That adds a second signer on the account. A network operator reset is not offered on this testnet.
